When faced with Assignment 2, I struggled to figure out what to work with. I reflected on the courses I have taken since graduating from TRU in 2012. The hospital I work at has mandatory courses that must be completed every year or two years. The courses are often very bland, with a PowerPoint and a voice-over. The health field often falls behind the changing times of digital technology. Many of the courses need to use more digital technology to help with comprehension and retention of information. My goal with this assignment is to develop a more accessible and interesting course.

Hello Christine,
I love this idea. Reviewing the Fetal Health surveillance material for test preparation takes me multiple days because I cannot maintain attention and focus; a more interactive design would be very helpful. I also find myself trying to memorize things rather than interactive/practical learning. I can’t wait to see your solution for this; great choice of topics!
